My Family

We are a family of Evangelical Christians who made a conviction to live our lives by the principles of the Bible.

My husband and I have been together for 7 years now and we have a homeschooled toddler who just keeps on amazing us.

At the end of it all, there is nothing that would delight me more in knowing that as you read my posts, you’ll get to experience Jesus the same way we did.
May all the praise, glory and spotlight remain in Him!
“Don’t ask me to leave you and turn back.
Wherever you will go, I will go; wherever you live I will live.
Your people will be my people and your God will be my God.” Ruth 1:16

  1. Hi Jennica! Thank you, you’re such an inspiration to many. I am now 32 weeks pregnant and I’ve been doing a lot of research in organic living, baby wearing, cloth diapering and breastfeeding like you. But most of all, I share your passion in trusting God for anything and everything. Truly excited for your baby! Mori is sooo blessed to have you as her mom.

Re his name… medyo torn pa kami. Hehe. We will ask our close friends and family to vote between Hugo Zaccheo and Kalel Ezekiel. What do you think? 😊

    • Aww! I’ve always liked the idea of naming one of our future child with a biblical name. ❤ I know that Ezekiel is a character in the Bible and he has his own book but I haven't read it yet so my vote goes to Hugo Zaccheo because I've heard the story of Zacchaeus many times from church. How he tried his best to come get a closer look at Jesus but because the townspeople is not fond of his ways, he was pushed back and yet made his way on top of a tree! 😀 Jesus even knows him by name and dined with him so I think it will be a nice reminder to your son that Jesus is the only key to salvation. That the Lord has the ability to look at a sinner's heart and grant forgiveness when asked. 🙂 Back to Ezekiel, I got curious tuloy about his share of story naman sa Bible hehe! 🙂

  3. By the way, I am a bit surprised that you dream to live in the province for good.
I grew up in our farm in Bulacan…for breakfast, we get to drink fresh carabao’s milk and eat fresh eggs from our native chicken’s nest. My dad grow organic vegetables and our house is surrounded by fruit bearing trees. We also have a fish pond where we get to catch fresh fish and cook them staight from the pond. Before, I din’t get to appreciate how blessed we are to have all those healthy food at hand… Until the time that I got married and lived here in Manila. Buti nalang medyo malapit lang, we can go back home whenever we can. 😊

Please give me some tips on what toiletries to s use ( shampoo, soap, lotion, deo, conditioner, cologne etc) now that I am a proud breastfeeding mom. Thanks a lot!

    • Hello Icee! Welcome to the Samahan Ng Mga Walang Tulog Club! 😉 I don’t use lotion and cologne/perfume. Then for the soap that I use, I already mentioned it above, I use Mommy Patch. Then for the shampoo and conditioner, I haven’t found one that I am truly happy with but I use the one’s from Oryspa. Then lastly for the deodorant, I use Crystal (unscented) from Healthy Options. Thank you for dropping by!

  8. Hello jennica! Im 33 weeks pregnant sa first baby ko…
I found your blog through your ig account. I have a blog too on tumblr and want to post all my baby pics dun.. But i haven’t started it yet… Kung ano ano palang pinopost ko dun…

Anyways…. Im currently living here in japan with my husband.. I thought magiging madali mag adjust dto but i was wrong…. I don’t regret living here… But unlike sa pinas alam ko kung ano need na bilhin pra sa baby ko.. There are times na maiisip ko na pwede pumunta ng divisoria kasi ang daming mura dun for babies,Here kasi parang different.. Although maganda magbuntis dito sa japan kasi every month i have check up and they’re showing me my baby through sonogram since the first day na nagpacheck up ako…talagang hands on and friendly mga doctors and nurses dito… I hope i can share all my experiences sa blog ko like you do…

    • Wow, Japan! My family is planning to go there this year. Hopefully when Halloween is near so that we get to have a picture taken with Jack Jack at Disney Land. 🙂

Blogging is so much fun. I’m sure you’ll enjoy posting more once your little one arrives since you can include pictures of him/her together with what you have to say. 🙂

May God bless you more as you welcome a new season of your life which is Motherhood! Exciting yan! 🙂

Every week i have a check up na… And hoping there will be no problem sa baby ko and normal delivery sana…

But wait… What are the signs kapag malapit ka na manganak? That you need to go to the hospital na?

My son will turn 1 on may 23 and gusto ko na mag-start na i-potty train sya. I’ve been using cloth diapers since he was 4months. And my time ba na ayaw ni Mori kumain? Lately, kasi naging picky eater na baby ko and minsan ayaw na talaga kumain. Hope you can give me some tips. Thank you. 😊☺

Hello mommy jennica I adore you so much for being very hands on to your baby girl mori 🙂 I am 19 yrs old when I gave birth to my baby boy and I am exclusively breast feeding until now 8months na si baby. We live in Canada, good thing I am on my maternity leave for 1 year and I am very hands on now Kay baby marami nagsasabi that i should stop breasfeeding my baby at sanayin na daw sa bote para daw kapag babalik na daw ako sa work hindi daw ako mahirapan. And parehas tayo ng paniniwala sa diyos.

    • Wow! I am proud of you Sam! 🙂 You’ll appreciate breastfeeding even more as your baby grows. When they get a bruise from running to fast or they have teething pain, the breast gives them a different kind of comfort. It soothes them. This helps me a lot kasi I would rather give the breast than cradle her in my arms and sway her back and forth for hours. Though I still babywear, I find it difficult already for her age because she is so heavy already. I can only babywear 30 minutes at a time now. Anyway, thank you for leaving a comment and reading my blog. God bless you and your baby boy Sam! 🙂

  28. Hi Jennica, I just found your blog. I haven’t read it but I was able to read an article that you were able to potty train your daughter at 7 months old. It’s very inspiring that it can be done. I’m looking forward to reading your posts and learn from you and other mothers. I salute you for being a hands-on mom and homemaker. I don’t have a helper myself and with a 2nd baby who is already 2 month old it’s even harder. God bless you and your family.
